As a young man I decided to go sailing and didn’t return home for six years. While on this adventure, I met a man named “Wire John” who plied his trade in all the places we frequented. Every day I spent money while he made the money. I soon discovered that I needed to make money myself if I was going to continue sailing. I started out with an alphabet made by the famous Wire John and a pair of pliers. This exercise was many times frustrating and many times I almost quit but the ultimate result was the birth of the original company, Gold Wire Jewelry. All the beautiful designs you will see in our booth and at our online stores have been the result of a wonderful and exciting sailing career. We have traveled millions of miles and exhibited and sold our unique jewelry at shows across the country and even out of the country.
